Momo believes in ghosts. Okarun believes in aliens. To make the other a believer, they respectively head to a famous UFO site and paranormal hotspot.
Momo's psychic powers awaken, while Okarun is cursed by Turbo Granny. They try to take refuge at Momo's house, but a giant alien appears before them.
Okarun is saved from a tough spot by Momo's grandmother, Seiko. Okarun must now play tag with Turbo Granny to lift his curse.
Momo and Okarun succeed in capturing Turbo Granny in their game of tag. However, a location-bound spirit in the shape of a crab comes after them.

Their classmate Aira had one of the missing golden balls. Aira can now see "invisible things" -- perhaps an effect of the ball?
Momo and Okarun manage to pull Acrobatic Silky away from Aira. However, Aira has already passed away...
The battle against Acrobatic Silky is over, and the three briefly go back to normal school life before Serpoians show up again.

Momo, Okarun and Aira make it through the aliens' assault by combining their powers. However, one alien that was supposedly defeated reappears.
Momo's childhood friend Jiji begins living in Momo's house. Jiji, plagued by apparitions in the house he moved into, has come to seek help from Seiko.
Momo and Okarun head to Jiji's house to investigate what happened to Jiji's family. There are several figures watching them...
