Amateur Surgeon iPad FAQ
1. Where can I get Amateur Surgeon for my iPad?
You can access the App Store within iTunes (version 9.1 or higher) on your computer, or simply tap the App Store icon on your iPad and search for Amateur Surgeon under the iPad section. You will need to be running the 3.2 software or higher on your iPad.
2. What settings will ensure the best gaming experience?
The AUTO-LOCK function has been disabled to prevent the screen from prematurely dimming or automatically locking.
Use your headphones to enjoy the background music and sound effects. When not using headphones, remember not to cover the speaker, otherwise, the sounds will be inaudible.
3. Is there a vibration function?
The iPad version does not feature vibration.
4. How do I adjust the screen brightness?
On your iPad springboard, choose SETTINGS > BRIGHTNESS and adjust accordingly.

5. What is Amateur Surgeon?
In this game, you are a pizza delivery guy who has strong interest in performing operations. You run into various kinds of injured patients under different circumstances and you are compelled to save their lives with the tools you have on hand.
6. What do I need to do in an operation?
There are some instructions / hints showing you the right steps or right tools to use during the operation. A help menu is also provided in case you forget the correct operating procedures.
7. How can I win this game?
You must save 27 patients with various, complicated injuries, as well as three additional "secret" patients that you unlock along the way.
8. How can I unlock the secret patients?
The first secret patient will be unlocked if you obtain a grade A in any surgery of the 27 regular patients. The second secret patient will be unlocked if you meet the specific requirement when operating on the fifth patient in Act 2. The third secret patient will be unlocked if you successfully rescue the 27 regular patients.
9. How can I save my progress?
Your progress is automatically saved each time you complete an operation and unlock the next patient. If you quit in the middle of an operation, the progress within that operation is lost.
10. How can I pause the game?
During any operation, you can press the "pause" icon at the top right corner or you can press the "help" icon to pause the game.
11. How can I adjust the music / sound volume?
During any operation, you can press the "Pause" icon, and select "Sound FX" to turn on/off the sound effects, or "Music" icon to turn on/off the background music. You can adjust the sound volume by tapping the "speaker" icon.
12. Who produced this awesome game?
The original online version of the game was developed by Mediatonic for Adult Swim Games. Artificial Life, Inc. developed the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch versions.
